John received a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Northville Rotary. John spent several years practicing as a CPA with multinational accounting firms and then as an attorney in a large law firm prior to starting Kelly & Kelly, P.C. with his wife Michele in 1998. His accounting and financial knowledge complement his legal skills to benefit both parties seeking a resolution through mediation.
Michele D. Kelly – Family Law Mediator & Parenting Time Coordinator
Michele Kelly is also a Senior Partner at Kelly & Kelly, P.C., and has extensive experience in family law and criminal law. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and holds a certificate of completion from the State Bar of Michigan in Family Law. Michele has served on the board of directors for the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan organization and is also on the faculty of Michigan’s Institute for Legal Education (ICLE). September 16, 2011, Michele was the presenter at the ICLE Solo & Small Firm Institute for Handling an MIP Case, and is frequently enlisted as a public speaker on legal topics affecting young people. Michele has completed a 40-hour course on Domestic Relations Mediation and an-8 hour course in Domestic Violence Screening. Ms. Kelly has 28 years experience in family law and is available for mediation of divorce, paternity, custody and parenting issues.
