More About Daniel
Daniel Ferency’s legal career has been varied by design, and his professional endeavors have exclusively served vulnerable families and children in Michigan. Daniel started his legal career working in the Solution Oriented Domestic Violence Prevention Courtroom at the Wayne County Circuit Court, a specialized docket created as a result of a federal grant made available under the Violence Against Women Act. Daniel has also been published on matters relating to interpersonal violence in the Michigan Family Law Journal.
Daniel later worked in chambers as a judicial attorney in the Family Division of the Wayne County Circuit Court. Working with the court, Daniel learned courtroom procedure saw first-hand how judges think about and decide family law cases. Daniel also brought his experience in interpersonal violence to his prior work in higher education as a Title IX and Title VII civil rights investigator at the University of Michigan.
As a practicing attorney, Daniel brings a wealth of diverse experiences to help clients resolve disputes in a timely, fair, and holistic manner. Daniel has experience litigating civil cases at all levels of Michigan courts, including the district courts, circuit courts, the Michigan Court of Appeals, and the Michigan Supreme Court.
Daniel resides in Oak Park with his wife Kanika and their golden retriever, Frankie.
