The principal attorneys for the firm are John P. Kelly, Michele D. Kelly, Ryan M. Steele and Kelly R. Enrici. All our attorneys have substantial legal experience in contracts, trials, negotiation, lawsuit mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.


Michele Kelly

Michele D. Kelly

Michele has extensive experience in family law and criminal law. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and holds a certificate of completion from the State Bar of Michigan in Family Law. Michele serves on the board of directors for the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan organization and is also on the faculty of Michigan's Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). As a frequent public speaker on legal topics affecting young people, Michelle has been interviewed for Time Magazine, Men's Health Magazine, and The National Law Journal regarding divorce and paternity fraud. She also appears regularly on local television and radio programs. Michelle received a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.A. from California Lutheran University. She is a former member of the board of directors for Community Financial Credit Union.

 


John Kelly

John P. Kelly

John has substantial experience in estate planning, civil litigation, contracts, business law and real estate. He holds a certificate of completion from the State Bar of Michigan in probate and estate planning and is licensed to practice law in the States of Michigan and California. He will soon be admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the State Bar of California, the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. John received a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Northville Rotary. John spent several years practicing as a CPA with multinational accounting firms and then as an attorney in a large law firm prior to starting Kelly & Kelly, P.C. in 1998. His accounting and financial knowledge complement his legal skills to benefit both his individual and business clients.

 


Ryan Steele

Ryan M. Steele

Ryan's practice focuses on all aspects of family law including divorce, paternity, child custody and support, as well as cohabitation, pre and post-nuptial agreements. She also handles criminal matters including alcohol, drug and traffic offenses. She regularly appears in both Circuit and District Courts and is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, State of Arizona, and Federal Eastern District of Michigan. Ryan is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Arizona, American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, Family Law Section of the State Bar, Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar, Oakland County Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Oakland County Recording Secretary, Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, Northville Chamber of Commerce, Detroit Athletic Club, Junior League of Birmingham and President of the Northville Area Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club. Ryan received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude. While at UDM, Ryan was actively involved in national Moot Court competitions. A recipient of the Dean's Honor Society and Murray Feldman Scholarships, Ryan earned the highest grade in her class in Civil Procedure, Federal Income Taxation, Civil Law and Family Law.

 


Kelsey Enrici

Kelsey R. Enrici

Kelsey Enrici is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the federal Eastern District of Michigan courts. She is an active member of the Oakland and Macomb County Bar Associations, Incorporated Society of Irish-American Lawyers, and Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. Before joining Kelly & Kelly, P.C. in January 2010, Kelsey worked for a global real estate consulting firm. Prior to that she worked as a law clerk for bankruptcy, family law and real estate cases, and as a project manager for the Immigration Law Clinic at UDM. Kelsey interned for the Honorable Michael Hathaway of the Third Judicial Circuit Court – Criminal Division, and for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. Kelsey earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While at UDM, Kelsey was an executive member of the Women's Law Caucus, a founding member of the Irish-American Lawyers – UDM Student Chapter, and a member of the Dean's Honor Society. She was also a senior staff member of the UDM Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates. Kelsey was a semi-finalist in the Jessup International Law Moot Court competition, and a recipient of the Dean's Scholarship and the Samuel L. Westerman Scholarship.
